Shank Purse

The long leather wallet has been hand cut and sewn from a butter soft tanned culatta. The leather has been finished with a  black dye to highlight the leathers characteristics. The leather is conditioned with oil and sealed with beeswax. The wallet features a hand hammered iron shank closure to the front which will rust with use over time and react with the leather creating rich rust nuances. Eight card slots, a coin pouch and a large note compartment are sewn inside the wallet like the pages of a book.

Each piece comes in a handmade cow leather pouch.
